South China Sea “Line of Contrasts” — DOW-UAP-PR101
A ~1m46s INDOPACOM IR track zooms into an elongated line of contrast patches that fade with distance — still not an ID.
Sources DVIDS DOW-UAP-PR101 (South China Sea 2024); war.gov/UFO; optional arXiv 2608.12445v1 (velocity-limit analysis — secondary)
DVIDS posted DOW-UAP-PR101 on 10 July 2026 from an earlier PURSUE tranche: about one minute forty-six seconds of Indo-Pacific Command infrared in the South China Sea. As the sensor zooms, an elongated “line” of multiple contrast patches appears, then fades with distance.
Official limits
AARO/DoD language again refuses analytical judgment. Secondary technical notes circulating around the release discuss velocity bounds and formation-versus-artifact readings; those are analyses of public pixels, not ledger conclusions. The primary cite remains the DVIDS page and war.gov portal.
Pair lesson
Ship this file beside a folklore or explained-geospatial case in the same browse session: official unresolved IR next to chart-explained “monster” pixels teaches status grammar. Here the status is open.
